How to reach Capri

Napoli Capodichino Airport → Port (Molo Beverello) → Capri

→ From Napoli Capodichino Airport  to Naples’ main port (Molo Beverello)

by bus: the company Alibus runs a bus that leaves in front of terminal 1 every 15 minutes (the timetable can be found here). The ride to “Molo Angioino / Beverello” (Stazione Marittima) (last stop) costs 5 euro and takes approx. 30 min. Tickets can be bought at Sun Store Tabacchi at the airport, or on the bus.

by taxi: the ride to Molo Beverello is 21€, inclusive of baggage, regardless of the number of passengers carried. Ask the driver for “tariffa predeterminata” – fixed fare – before the taxi moves off.

→ From Naples’ main Port to Capri

Ferry timetables can be found here. The ticket is between 15€ (slow ferry, 1h20min) and 23€ (high speed ferry, 50min). We recommend to buy the ferry ticket in advance.

The Workshop will take place in Anacapri, one of the two main villages in the island of Capri (the other one is called “Capri”, like the whole island).

How to reach Anacapri from Marina Grande (arrival port):

Take the direct bus to Anacapri (every 15 min). The ride takes 15 min. and the ticket costs 2€ (2.5€ if purchased on board)

Take a taxi. The cost is about 23€ and takes 10 min.

If you want to stop first in Capri town, take the “Funicolare” (cable-car) that takes directly into Capri town (runs every 15 min.; it takes 4 min.) . From Capri town to Anacapri take the bus (runs every 10 minutes; it takes 10 min.). You need a second ticket for this ride.
